Fine-Art Printing for Photographers and Artists
How to Prepare Your Images for Printing
◦ All printing is done from digital files.
◦ If you need help obtaining digital files of your original art we can help. Just let us know.
◦ The print prices listed in our price chart are for "print ready" files which you provide us (see our upload page).
◦ Your image flies should be at your desired print size (length and width).
◦ Your image files should be color corrected and sharpened unless we are providing this service for you. We will provide final output sharpening as needed.
◦ Important! your image files should have a resolution of between 240 and 360 pixels-per-inch at your intended print size.
◦ The best file formats are .psd (Photoshop) or .tif (TIFF). JPEG (.jpg) flies may produce satisfactory results, but since the JPEG format involves some file compression, it is not the ideal format for large format photographic printing. We are always happy to look at your image file and let you know how well it will print.
◦ If you need assistance in producing "print ready" files, or if you need help in optimizing your originals, We are happy to help. Pricing for our Photoshop services may be found under "Digital Services" in our price chart.
◦ If you desire proof prints before printing large works or a large print run, please see our "Proof Services" page.
◦ If your print size is greater than 16 x 20 inches, please use the multiplier at the bottom of each price chart section to determine price.
◦ Don't forget the effect of unprinted white borders. If your borders are part of your file, then please include them in your print size. For example: an 8 x 12 inch print on Premium Luster paper would run $16.00 without specified borders. If you need 2-inch white borders the print becomes 12 x 16 inches and therefore is priced at $22.00.
◦ We are also able to print much longer images than listed here, and we do not have the 83 inch print limit imposed by older versions of Photoshop.

◦ We offer an optional 3-coat application of PremierArt's™ PrintShield. The price is in the right hand column of our price chart.
◦ If you have any questions or need a custom paper or paper size, please feel free to contact us for a free quote.
◦ Discount pricing for the second print (and up) are for multiples of the same image printed at the same time.
◦ Our minimum order is $50.00. We will print smaller orders, but there will be an up-charge to $50.00.
◦ Shipping and handling fees are described on our pricing page.
◦ Important: You must be the owner of the image or have appropriate permission from the copyright holder. We cannot print images for which you do not have such permission.
◦ If you believe you will need additional large format prints in the future, please ask us to archive a copy of your image. This will save you from having to send the file back to us for reprints. There is no charge for this service for up to 2 GB of storage, but you should always keep a copy of the file or image yourself. Also, we can provide you with additional archival copies of your scanned file on CD ROM. The cost is $10/CD.
